Authentic, personal, and designed for longevity.

OUR APPROACH

Just like your one-of-a-kind history, your home's characteristics should be noticed and celebrated. We create spaces that welcome, inspire and delight in elegant and unexpected ways where your family's cherished memories and everyday moments will beautifully unfold.

OUR WORK

OUR WORK

You won't find a run-of-the-mill room in an LRD home. Her sophisticated use of color, attention to even the most unassuming detail, problem-solving approach to design, and talent for celebrating her client's personal stories within their spaces are what makes working with Lauren different. Forming true, genuine, and trust-based relationships is paramount to each LRD project, and you'll often find Lauren mixing new and treasured pieces when curating the finishing details of a space. Where personal, unexpected, and elevated intersect—that's the LRD look.

As the daughter of an architect, Lauren's passion for design began at a young age. Born in the United States, but raised in Paris and Rio de Janeiro, Lauren traveled the world and was immersed in different cultures throughout her childhood and young adult years. This not only shaped Lauren's distinct eye, but helped her appreciate beauty in varied environments. Although she left a successful law career to pursue motherhood, her detail-oriented perspective and problem-solving approach to issues elevates her client process and proves valuable time and time again.

Lauren's ultimate goal is to change the way you live, for the better.

—LAUREN REYNOLDS, FOUNDER & LEAD DESIGNER

Sushi, forever and always.

10. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My eldest son. He is so much fun to be around.

09. wHO MAKES YOU LAUGH THE HARDEST?

Whatever you do—give it your ALL!

08. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Fiction - The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
Nonfiction - Praying the Scriptures for Your Children by Jodie Berndt. The only parenting book you need!

07. what BOOK DO YOU FIND YOURSELF RECOMMENDING OVER AND OVER AGAIN?

Our favorite family tradition is the annual Reynolds Family Christmas Eve Baking Challenge. Every Christmas Eve, each of our three children spend time planning and preparing a dessert to be presented and tasted after our Christmas Eve dinner. It's quite the competition, complete with secret ballot voting and a coveted golden trophy. It has become something we look forward to all year long!

06.  What is a unique tradition your family has?

Friday night grill time with my dad. My dad usually travelled during the week, but on Friday nights, we all congregated on the back porch with steak on the grill and Neil Diamond blasting through the speakers. It's small meaningful moments like those that stand out to me the most.

05. WHAT's YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY?

Hot nonfat vanilla latte.

04. What's your drink of choice?

I'd probably still be practicing law, but trust me, this is way more fun!

03. If YOU Weren't an interior designer, what would you be doing?

I'm not a big fan of labels, but... colorful, confident, elegant, and unexpected—no cookie cutter style here!

02. If you had to describe your personal style, how would you describe it?

A Bible that has been in my family since the 1800s. When I married, my grandfather gave it to me. It had been stored under his bed for decades and was literally disintegrating. We had it professionally restored, and it now resides prominently displayed on my coffee table. I believe meaningful things should be enjoyed, not stored.
