When we first started this project, these soon-to-be empty nesters told me they were finding themselves particularly drawn to the color “tomato soup red.” At first, we weren’t sure how we were going to incorporate this commanding hue without it completely taking over. But as the design of this home began to take shape, we discovered elegant and unexpected ways to weave this iconic color throughout, using it intentionally to create moments of warmth, depth, and personality.

Balanced with soft neutrals, rich textures, and thoughtfully layered furnishings, the palette brings both energy and sophistication to the home. Each space feels connected yet distinct, creating a natural flow that supports this new chapter of slower mornings, effortless entertaining, and everyday comfort. The result is a home that feels bold yet livable — a confident reflection of our clients’ evolving style and the life they’re stepping into next.
