I’ve had more than one client joke that they know they’re “in trouble” when my acrylic trays come out. I take that as a compliment, of course, because they know something beautiful is about to unfold. I have found that creating flat lays of the fabrics, materials and textures I plan to use in a room is an effective way to communicate my vision to clients. It’s just one tool in my tool box, but I absolutely love the creative process of putting them together. It’s such a fun exercise for me! No two are ever the same. Here’s a little taste of some favorites from recent LRD projects.
